    Introduction

    This guide has been written to serve as a form of "index" with regards to the many different weapons available in our mod pack, and their weapon types. This guide should be used in conjunction with the "Slots and Roles Index" guide with regards to taking the proper weaponry for your slot in missions. This guide will only cover BLUFOR and OPFOR as INDFOR is very subjective, depending on the faction you play as (e.g. Serbians, AAF, FIA, IRA, Insurgents etc), though generally INDFOR weapons tend to follow OPFOR (with the exception of PMCs). This will NOT cover statistics or weapon performance data in any way so if you're looking for which assault rifle does "pew pew" damage and which assault rifle does "bew bew" damage, look elsewhere, nor will this cover pistols and launchers.

    These weapon types are not set in stone and there will be certain exceptions depending on circumstances (such as if playing base game factions only, Negevs shouldn't be used by BLUFOR; undercover missions; time period missions etc) and so if you are unclear as to whether you are allowed a specific weapon, ask someone, be it your SL/2iC, or a Moderator/CM. Weapons may not be listed if they fall under one of the categories listed below (e.g. the M70s aded by RHS GREF/SAF are literally just AKs, the M84 is literally ust a PKM etc.) Do note that even though these are not set in stone, attempts to exploit loopholes to use weaponry that you are not allowed to bring will result in repercussions. These may be flexible, but that doesn't mean you get to "meme" about or otherwise be an anarchist. Be smart. Not a smartass.

    Prohibited Weaponry

    Generally just don't ever bring any of these weapons unless it's specified that you're doing an extremely special mission, such as a literal "just for funsies" mission with all miniguns, or "Old school" reenactment missions with bolt actions only etc. These will usually already be removed from the Arsenals in the Zeus templates due to ACE Arsenal's Blacklist function but if it does show up due to adding an Arsenal later in etc, don't bring them. Seriously. Just don't. Unless you like getting kicked back to the Stone Age.
